This client landed a spot on Forbes' Top 10 list of best content creators — entirely off the back of a founder-led LinkedIn brand built from scratch. Here's how it came together.
A LinkedIn profile should work like a personal landing page. We designed a banner with a bold headline, added social proof and credibility to the bio, and rewrote the About section around a clear CTA — so anyone landing on the profile immediately understood who he was and how he helped.
Nobody follows a personal brand for information they could Google. Based on his ICP and industry, we built a running list of interview questions and used weekly calls to extract stories, context, and experience — the things nobody else could replicate.
Content was split across top-of-funnel (business takes, behind-the-scenes, lead magnets), middle-of-funnel (how-tos, guides, FAQs), and bottom-of-funnel (client results, case studies, hand-raisers) — building trust, authority, and credibility in that order.
As content started driving ICP-fit profile views and engagement, we extracted those inbound signals and pushed them into outbound — email, warm DMs, and LinkedIn InMail. They'd already seen the content and knew, liked, and trusted him. All that was left was starting the conversation.
